Is anyone else part of this cult?
I just joined recently. I’ve been wanting to go for years, but the constant clapping and procedures always scared me off. I finally mustered the courage to become a part of this odd little community that we have on site at work, and delivered my first speech there yesterday.
I actually wish now I had joined this years ago. People tell me i’m a natural (i think raw and unrefined is more like it), but the practice really does help.

I have heard good things about Toastmasters. Two solid disciples I know are highly involved. If you love to communicate, it seems like it would really help you grow and experience that. Some Toastmaster groups are apparently good for community and sharing your faith…

Hey Greg, you’re already subscribed to the post (it’s marked next to your name on my blog). I was a bit confused at first as well, but ’subscription’ here is based on the post.
if you want to subscribe to all of a voxers posts as they come in, i recommend you get some type of rss aggregator. I use bloglines.com add the site address, ie. http://www.onelife.voxtropolis.com for mine, and it will retrieve everything new that comes in.
or you can also just add your favorite voxes to your own sidebar via the ‘links’ option when you sign on to manage your vox.
